AJ had a test to see how well the first round of chemo worked.
We’re not getting excited but it looks good.
Definitely not getting excited but there are no more leukaemic cells. Can only be a good thing.
They continue with the treatment in any case. As one doctor said, we bash it and bash it and bash it some more. Dr Wheeler said they were “delighted”, so not getting excited, but!
They also think that she should be able to come home a bit more between treatments, basically because her immune system is now just knackered because of the chemo, rather than chemo + leukaemia.
AJ has also got glasses, she looks massively intellectual! Haven’t got a pic but will post one tomorrow.
