So we are back again. Ding, seconds out, round two.
AJ needed her line reinserted, another op. This time it didn’t go well. She had the op yesterday and it kept bleeding. The nurses tried to staunch it. The excellent Elaine spent hours pressing the opening and that seems to have done the trick. But… there’s always a but, where the line should’ve been going down towards her heart, it is going up to her neck. What the Ffff?!
So tomorrow another op, to get it in the correct position…
And then another one to do a lumbar puncture to see how the first lot of chemo has gone…
And then the next lot of chemo…
Ava-Jane still as chipper as ever. Parents less so.
And off we go again
